Stan Sherrill Memorial Scholarship
Stan Sherrill was one of the original members of OTC more than ten years ago. He loved tennis and he loved our community. Stan was an important member of our club and we loved having him out on the courts. His on court energy was infectious and he was guaranteed to bring a smile to his partner’s face and sometimes even his opponent’s. Orange Tennis Club is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides low cost, high quality tennis instruction for all ages and all levels. A donation to this page is a donation to OTC in Stan’s memory to benefit our Teen Internship Scholarship Program and our junior scholarships for memberships and summer camps.
OTC is working with Stan’s family to make sure his memory lives on on the tennis courts. The OTC Teen Internship program introduces teens to teaching the game of tennis and being positive role models for younger children. Our interns are trained to work with kids and introduce them to the game of tennis. This leads them into a paid coaching job with OTC and an opportunity for a college scholarship through the Stan Sherrill Memorial Scholarship Fund. 100% of donations made on this page go to support the OTC Teen Internship Program.
